About Me
I was born and raised on the windy beaches of New England, but I moved to Colorado Springs in 2014 and made the city my home. In college I studied archaeology; during those summers you could often find me at the bottom of a trench in the middle of the desert. After hanging up my trowel I began my career in higher education (it’s a lot easier on the lower back). In December 2023 I completed my master’s degree in history (also easier on the back). These days I am most likely to be found buried in a book instead of a hole in the ground. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, watching movies, and playing video games.
Fun Facts
- I am an avid NASCAR fan and historian of the sport. If prompted I could talk about it indefinitely.
- I can solve a Rubik’s cube in under a minute (schedule an appointment for a demonstration).
- I once watched 500 movies in a single year.
Education
- Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Colorado College, 2018
- Master of Arts in History, University of Colorado Colorado Springs, 2023
