Choosing a major can feel like a daunting decision. At UCCS, we have created meta majors and pathways to help you explore areas of interest around six academic and career-related themes. 

You can select a meta major, enroll in appropriate classes for your interests, and move forward towards declaring a major with personalized support. Advisors and Career Services will partner with you to help you narrow your focus and broaden your understanding of all the majors, careers, and options available to you.

This pathway provides access to a range of programs within the arts, humanities and media studies. Students pursuing these programs can expect to explore critical thinking, cultures, history, creative arts, film and media studies, and language.

This pathway provides students an opportunity to explore business, innovation and entrepreneurship. Students can continue on to major in Business, Economics, Communication, or pursue one of the Bachelors of Innovation degrees that seeks an interdisciplinary approach to Business, Engineering, Technology and Entrepreneurship in a variety of fields.
