About Me
At UCCS, I provide academic advising to deciding students, career coaching to all undergrad students, grad students, and alumni throughout their career journey, and serve as a GPS lecturer. As a transfer student and first-gen Latina college graduate, I understand the value of making the most out of the college experience and enjoy connecting students and alumni with experiences that match their interests, help them gain new skills, and get them closer to reaching their goals. My career journey has included working abroad and experience in the education, healthcare, government, nonprofit and private sectors. In my free time, I enjoy hiking in Colorado, learning languages, playing board games, and planning my next travel destination. Raised in California, Florida, and Guatemala; I love learning about everyone’s diverse experiences and working to create a culture of inclusion and belonging.
