About Me

Hi there! I'm Brianna - feel free to call me Bri!  I'm so excited to be here with you at UCCS, especially since I more recently traded in saguaros for pine trees, having lived in Arizona for the past 25 years. The mountains are a breath of fresh air!

A bit about my own trek through higher education: I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in English through Arizona State University - go Sun Devils! Shortly after I completed a Master of Education through The University of Arizona. I've been an academic advisor for over 10 years now and have worked with both undergrad and graduate students. I loved my college experience, and I firmly believe all students should have the chance to connect and thrive in this unique chapter of life.  My favorite part of advising is getting to be a small part of each student's bigger journey, helping them navigate the twists and turns along the way.

Outside of work, my two little girls keep me pretty busy. We have a full house with three dogs as well. When I don't have my hands full with all that, I enjoy home improvement projects, painting, reading, scary movies, and videogames. We love to load up the car and take off camping for the weekend too.

I hope you'll stop by and say hello!
