I was born and raised in Palm Desert, California; I lived there my entire life until moving to Colorado Springs in the Fall of 2020. I have two grown sons and two fur babies. Before joining the UCCS family, I was a School Counselor at the middle and high school levels. After moving to COS, I decided it was time for a change and joined the Higher Education community. I absolutely love working with adult students as they work to achieve their personal, academic, and career goals. In my free time, I love camping in my VW Westy, hiking, good food, perusing thrift stores, soaking up the sunshine, and listening to live music.

• I took a year off when I moved to CO and spent the year hiking, gardening, cooking, reading, practicing yoga, and learning macrame...My best year yet!
• I love board games, puzzles, and word search puzzles.
• I started a VW Car Club in So. California...VW owners are the nicest humans.
