I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska until I moved to Colorado for college. After attending CSU for my undergraduate, I moved to Littleton. I am a military spouse and mother of two school age boys. I am passionate about education and have worked in many different settings to include high school teaching and counseling, community college, workforce development and am thrilled to now be at UCCS.

• My first job was teaching high school Physics and Chemistry.
• I was Captain of the Rifle Team in High School (a very Alaskan sport).
• I have skied since I was 3 years old and still love to hit the slopes every winter.
