  • Do I need to reapply to UCCS?

    Yes, students who have not been actively enrolled for three consecutive semesters will need to reapply to UCCS as a "Returning Student". 

    For example, if the last term you were enrolled was Fall 2021, students are still considered "active" for Spring 2022, Summer 2022, and Fall 2022. If no enrollment activity occurred, the University discontinues the student's program.

    If you are a student returning from a suspension period, please contact your Academic Advisor or our office to discuss the reinstatement process.

  • What if I took courses elsewhere while away?

    You will need submit official transcripts from any school you've attended while you've been away from UCCS. If you are wondering if your courses will transfer, using the free Transferology tool allows you to see courses that can be used here at UCCS. If you have further questions about course transfers, please contact our Transfer Team:

  • I re-applied. Now What?

    Assuming everything is in order, you will be admitted and matriculated by Admissions. You'll be notified of the admissions decision via email.

    If you received a notification of admission and tried to enroll in courses but received an error about not having an enrollment appointment, that means you haven't been matriculated yet. Contact Admissions for assistance.

  • I've been readmitted but don't know what classes to take. Who can help?

    Undergraduate, degree-seeking students at UCCS have an Academic Advisor assigned to them. These assignments are based on students last names and majors. Students can find their assigned Academic Advisor by following these steps:

    1. Log into myUCCS Portal.
    2. On the home page, find your Student Profile.
    3. Either expand or scroll down in this window to find your assigned Academic Advisor.

    Students can also visit the Advisors and Staff page and use the drop down menu to find advisors for their major. If you are unable to locate this information, contacting the Academic Advising office is also another option. 

    If you are changing your major, please contact our office to be connected with the appropriate advisor.
