Academic Advisors can help with:

  • Explaining UCCS's degree programs
  • Military Forms (104R, Form 48, ROTC, etc)
  • Graduation Check/Senior Audit
  • Transfer Credits
  • Probation/Suspension
  • Degree Audit questions
  • Study Abroad/National Student Exchange (NSE)
     

How to Schedule an Appointment with Advising

Current students can schedule appointments with their assigned Advisor online through Student Support Network.

  1. Log in to Student Support Network.
  2. Click on the Schedule an Appointment button.
  3. Find and select the support team member you’d like to schedule with.
    1. Note: “Not Available” will show if they do not have any availability.
  4. Select a Topic & Subtopic.
  5. Select a Date & Time.
  6. Add comments.
  7. Select a Location.
  8. A confirmation pop-up will appear, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.
  9. If you are having difficulty scheduling an appointment using Student Support Network please contact us.

How to Prepare for your Appointment with Advising

  • If you need a form completed, please bring that with you to the appointment.
  • Prepare a list of questions or issues that you would like to discuss with your advisor.

Appointments are Available Online or In-person

In-person Appointments:

  • Scheduled appointments are 30 minutes in length.
  • Please arrive for your appointment at least 5 minutes early to check in at our front desk in Main Hall 208.
  • When you check in at the front desk, have your Student ID ready.
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we will ask you to reschedule.

Online Appointments:

  • Scheduled appointments are 30 minutes in length.
  • If you are out of state or an online learner, this is a great way to stay in touch with your advisor.
  • Students can conduct remote appointments via Microsoft Teams or as a phone appointment.
  • Advisors will leave a message if you are unavailable at the time of your appointment. Students must return the phone call within the first 10 minutes of their appointment time to honor the appointment.
